Welcome to Document Master! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Document Master website and its services (collectively, the "Service"). Document Master provides online tools for managing PDF and image files, including but not limited to splitting, merging, converting, and rotating files, as well as finding duplicate text. All file processing is performed **client-side within your browser**. This means that files you upload or text you paste into our tools are processed locally on your device and are **never uploaded to our servers or stored by us**.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from using the Service to:

  1. Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
  2. Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  3. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
  4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Service, or any other systems or networks connected to the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on Document Master, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images, and logos are the intellectual property of Document Master and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Any inappropriate use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of any content on this site is strictly prohibited, unless specifically authorized by Document Master.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. Document Master does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Document Master, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
